These terms govern use of this website and registration for training. Consulting engagements are governed by a separate written agreement.
Using this site
By using this site you agree to these terms. The material here is provided for general information about our services and about food safety regulation. It is not legal advice, and it is not a substitute for reading the regulation that applies to your operation or for advice specific to your facility.
Consulting engagements
Nothing on this site is an offer or a contract. Consulting work is scoped, quoted, and performed under a separate written agreement that sets out deliverables, fees, and terms.
Training registration and payment
Seats are confirmed only when payment has cleared. Payment is handled by a third-party processor; we do not receive or store your card details. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any applicable taxes.
Cancellations and refunds
The cancellation, transfer, and refund terms published on the In-Person Training page form part of these terms. If we cancel a session, you receive a full refund.
Course materials and intellectual property
Certain courses use curriculum licensed from the Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance, and certificates are issued under the rules of the issuing body. Those materials remain the property of their owners. Our own materials, this site, and its content are protected by copyright. You may not record, reproduce, or redistribute course materials without written permission.
No guarantee of outcome
We do not guarantee that you will pass an audit, achieve or maintain certification, satisfy a regulator or a customer, or avoid enforcement action. Those outcomes depend on how your operation is run, which is outside our control. Attending a course does not guarantee a passing result.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to this site or any training registration is limited to the amount you paid for the training in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost profits or business interruption.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
